Cline

A Cline Agent · Orchestrated by DrClaw

Connect

Connectors plug into the rest of Cline.

Every Connector is a new ability for the parts of Cline your practice already runs on. The same integration shows up in EHRBuilder, AppBuilder, and DrClaw at once.

For EHRBuilder

Extend the EHR with the clinical services your practice depends on. ePrescribe through Photon Health, send labs to Labcorp, exchange records through Leyr, generate voice notes through ElevenLabs. Every Connector writes back into the patient record so EHRBuilder stays your single source of truth.

For AppBuilder

Give your custom apps the backend services they need without writing integration code. Payments through Ease, SMS through Twilio, voice through ElevenLabs, calendar through Google Workspace. Drop a Connector into an AppBuilder project and DrClaw wires it up for you.

For DrClaw

Every active Connector becomes a tool DrClaw can call on your behalf. When the pharmacy has a question, DrClaw answers through the Photon Connector. When a patient pays, DrClaw confirms through the Ease Connector. Connectors are how DrClaw reaches outside the practice.

Three kinds of Connectors, one place to manage them.

Connectors come in three flavors depending on who builds them and how they're priced. The handling is the same once they're live: configure, connect, and let DrClaw operate them.

Type 01 · Cline Native

Built by Cline, free with your plan.

The Connectors Cline builds and maintains directly. These are the foundation services that come with the platform, so you never pay extra for the work Cline does itself.

Type 02 · Integration

Integrated and maintained by Cline.

The third-party services Cline integrates on your behalf. Each one is built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP) so new integrations ship in days instead of quarters, with Cline handling auth, uptime, and BAA chain of compliance. Billed monthly through your Cline plan, the way Keragon prices workflow automation.

Type 03 · Marketplace · Coming soon

Partner-built, sold through the marketplace.

Partner-built Connectors that vendors integrate themselves using Cline's API and MCP documentation. Cline runs the marketplace, distributes the BAA, handles billing, and takes a 15% fee on subscription revenue. Vendors set the price and earn the rest. Modeled on the developer-relations dynamics of a real app store.

How Connectors work, three steps in.

Adding a Connector is closer to flipping a switch than installing software. DrClaw handles the integration plumbing in the background while you handle the rest of your practice.

Step 01

Browse

Find the Connector you need in the directory, filtered by category, vendor, or type. Each Connector lists its pricing, setup requirements, and the practices already running it.

Step 02

Enable

Cline Native Connectors activate with a click. Cline-managed Integrations enable with an API key or OAuth, with the monthly fee added to your Cline invoice. Partner Marketplace Connectors will check out through Cline when the Marketplace ships.

Step 03

Let DrClaw operate it

Once a Connector is live, DrClaw treats it as part of your operational stack. Sub-agents call it, workflows route through it, and Cline monitors the endpoint so your practice keeps running.

Cline Connectors, priced by scale.

A flat monthly subscription for the practice using Connectors, with annual billing taking 25% off. Vendors who list paid Connectors are billed separately through the marketplace fee, not by the practice.

Marketplace revenue split

The Cline Connector Marketplace is coming soon.

The Marketplace is the partner layer of the platform: vendors integrate their service against Cline's API and MCP documentation, list their Connector for sale, and earn 85% of monthly subscription revenue. Cline handles distribution, BAA chain of compliance, billing, and the marketplace itself. It's the developer-relations model of a real app store, scoped to healthcare. The Marketplace ships later this year, and partners can request early access now.

85/15

to partner / to Cline

No listing fee, no upfront cost. Cline processes subscriptions, handles BAA distribution to each customer, and routes payment to the partner net of the 15% marketplace fee. The partner builds the integration. Cline distributes it.

Common questions.

Because EHRBuilder is your EHR. Cline isn't a layer that sits on top of someone else's EHR, it's the EHR your practice runs on. Where you do need data from the outside, like patient records from a hospital, an HIE, or a referring provider's EHR, that flows in through data exchange Connectors like Leyr (European EHRs, EMRs, and patient journals), not through EHR-to-EHR sync.

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is the open standard Cline uses to connect AI agents like DrClaw to outside services. Building a new Integration on MCP takes days instead of quarters, the connection is consistent across every Connector you activate, and partners listing through the upcoming Marketplace can ship their Connector against the same protocol Cline uses internally. For your practice, MCP means new Connectors arrive faster and break less.

Skills are abilities you give DrClaw so he knows how to do specific kinds of work, like running a prior authorization or following up after a visit. Connectors are the integration layer that connects DrClaw to outside systems like your EHR, your payment processor, or your labs vendor. Skills tell DrClaw what to do. Connectors tell him where to do it.

No. That's the point. Cline Connectors are pre-built so you don't have to wire anything yourself. Cline Native Connectors activate with a click. Cline-managed Integrations enable with an API key or OAuth, and the monthly fee is added to your Cline invoice. The integration logic, the error handling, and the endpoint maintenance are all handled on Cline's side, the same way Keragon runs HIPAA workflow automation.

When a vendor changes their API, updates their auth scheme, or modifies their rate limits, Cline's engineering team updates the Connector on your behalf. You don't get paged. You don't have to fix anything. The Connector's uptime SLA covers vendor-side disruptions inside the platform's reasonable control, with retry logic, error queuing, and incident notifications built in.

Every Connector ships under your signed Cline BAA, with encryption in transit and at rest and per 45 C.F.R. § 164.312(b) audit logging on every transaction. Connectors that integrate with third-party services only activate once the vendor's own BAA covers your account, so the chain of compliance is intact end to end.

A Cline-managed Integration is one that Cline integrates and maintains on your behalf, like Ease for payments or Twilio for SMS. You pay a monthly fee for the integration, the same way Keragon prices workflow automation, and Cline handles auth, uptime, BAA, and API changes. A Marketplace Connector is partner-built, where the vendor integrates against Cline's API and MCP documentation, lists their Connector in the Cline Connector Marketplace, and Cline takes a 15% fee on subscription revenue. The Marketplace is shipping later this year.

Yes. Practice and Scale plans include custom Connector requests, with Practice covering one per quarter and Scale covering unlimited. Enterprise plans include custom Connectors built on demand. If the vendor has a public API and a willingness to sign a BAA, Cline can typically build the Connector within a few weeks.

The 15% fee applies only to Type 03 Marketplace Connectors, the partner-built ones sold through the Cline Connector Marketplace. It covers payment processing, BAA distribution, customer billing, refund handling, marketplace placement, and the platform infrastructure. Cline Native and Cline-managed Integrations are not Marketplace Connectors, so the fee does not apply to them. There's no listing fee, no upfront cost, and partners earn 85% of subscription revenue net of the marketplace fee.

No. API call limits reset at the start of each billing period. If you exceed the included volume on any Connector, Cline emails you before the cap is reached and offers either a top-up at a per-call rate or an upgrade to a higher plan. Workflows keep running while the cap is being handled.

Yes. Connectors can be deactivated or cancelled inside your Connectors dashboard at any time. Cline Native Connectors deactivate immediately. Cline-managed Integrations cancel at the end of the current billing period since they're prepaid for that month. The Connector stays available in the directory if you want to resume later.
